Pennington Recycling Depot

The Pennington Recycling Depot is a community initiative run entirely by dedicated volunteers. By recycling with us, you help reduce the strain on local landfill sites and keep our beautiful village clean.

Important: As this is a volunteer service, the depot is ONLY open on Wednesday mornings. Please do not drop off recycling outside of these hours.

Depot Details

Location: Behind Relton Hall (off the R102 / Impathle Drive). Access is via the side gate.

Operating Hours

Wednesday ONLY

09:00 - 10:00

Closed on Public Holidays

Please ensure you arrive within these times to assist our volunteers.

Entrance situated behind Relton Hall.

Accepted Materials

Please ensure all items are clean, rinsed, and separated before arriving.

Paper

Newspapers, magazines, and white office paper. Please flatten all cardboard boxes.

Glass

Glass bottles and jars. Please remove lids and rinse thoroughly.

Plastics

Most household plastics (PET 1, HDPE 2). Bottles must be rinsed and caps removed.

Cans

Aluminium drink cans and tin food cans. Please rinse food cans to prevent odours.
